Henley Top in Paper Thin Creme Plaid
Inspired by one of my earliest antique finds, an early 1800's French nightshirt. This piece in some ways inspired the entire women's collection.
Our henley retains the integrity of the original piece in the neckline and the placket detailing in front and under the arms. We make it in thin fabrics for a loose, delicate fit; and in fabrics that emulate the feel of the original piece.

Sizing, in my opinion is a subjective thing. The goal for anything you wear is to have effortless fit, form, and function, and of course you want to feel great. It’s for these reasons I am pretty committed to not locking myself in to a particular size. For example, I am on the petite side, however, I love an oversized fit so I often size up in certain pieces. This is why I’ve chosen to label the sizing in Jess Brown pieces with numbers rather then the traditional letters showing extra small through extra large. My hope is you choose pieces in my collection that feel great on and let go of what size you think you are. The way I have designed the collection is as a capsule of pieces that work in many sizes. You may love a size 1 in a top but then gravitate towards a 3 in a dress...
